FGCU student Gilbert Green is no ordinary storm chaser. During the summer of 2022, he filmed hundreds of images of lightning, particularly a rare type called spider lightning. It's not the wisest thing to do, standing outside in a storm in the Lightning Capital of the U.S. But it's for the good of research.
