Chief Davis: Why Leave Atlanta?

After serving the city of Atlanta for nearly 30 years, in June 2016, Cerlelyn Davis was sworn in as Durham’s new Chief of Police. She brings a wealth of experience to this position having served as commander of the APD’s Homeland Security Unit, overseeing the Intelligence and Organized Crime Unit and the Joint Terrorism Task Force. Chief Davis also completed the FBI National Academy.
