  • Aired: 11/11/2005

  • Rating: NR
Much of what is know today about shark anatomy, physiology and behavior comes from the work of Eugenie Clark. In 1995 she started a marine laboratory in Sarasota. Today the Mote Marine Lab is home to the Congressionally-designated Center for Shark Research and a 135,000-gallon shark habitat in its aquarium. This month's Earth Edition profiles the life and studies of Eugenie Clark.
